Ginger Cookies
1 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup molasses (gold label)
2 eggs
2 Tbsp soured milk (or sweet)
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp ginger
1 dash salt
3-1/2 cups flour
Mix in order given. Either rolled out after it has chilled or drop from spoon and flatted with glass that has been buttered and dipped in sugar.
Bake at 350 degrees 10 to 12 minutes or until done.
